In my opinion, I think surveillance cameras are very useful because people can see crimes in progress and catch the people who commit crimes.
It is also useful in schools. You can see who enters or who leaves the school, so there won’t be so many troubles and nobody would fight or write on the walls, paint them, draw on them or things like this because they will be punished.
On the other side, surveillance cameras can be very worrying. One day, I was reading the newspaper. I found out that a family had found a camera hidden in their hotel room. After reading this, I feel paranoid because I think that there’s a camera hidden in my phone, TV, laptop or any other gadget. But maybe this is just in my mind.In conclusion, surveillance can be very useful to catch a robber, a murderer, a drug dealer and other bad guys but it could be very worrying.
